Western Iowa Tech Community College's Auto Technology program took its latest build, a fully restored 1972 K5 Blazer, to the Toppers Car Show in Sioux Falls, February 13-15, earning the Outstanding Entry award.

Western Iowa Tech Community College President Dr. Terry Murrell has been selected to receive the prestigious Michael Bennett Lifetime Achievement Award from Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

David Miller was born and raised in Iowa, graduating from West Monona High School in 1969.

He was a car enthusiast and graduated from Western Iowa Tech in 1973.

The Western Iowa Tech Early Childhood Education Club is hosting its annual Scholastic Book Fair this week, December 1-5, on the Sioux City campus. The fair is open to students, employees, families, and the community.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Tuesday morning to celebrate the new mural in downtown Sioux City at the corner of 5th and Jackson Streets.

The mural, which features people in graduation caps and gowns, was organized by Western Iowa Tech’s Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society.
