WIT students joined performer John Rush for an evening of live music and karaoke on Sept. 30 in Cargill Auditorium as part of our 60th anniversary celebration.

John shared original music while students took the stage for karaoke, performing everything from country, rap, and pop to K-pop and musical theater, with songs from Celine Dion, Justin Bieber, and plenty in between.

In celebration of WIT’s 60 years, the music spanned six decades, with songs from each era bringing us back through the years and giving a nod to the music that defined each decade. Favorites ranged from “House of the Rising Sun” and “Hotel California” to “No Scrubs,” “Dancing on My Own,” and more.

It was a fun night of music, karaoke, and celebrating 60 years of WIT. The evening added another memorable experience to our milestone year, with plenty of laughs, favorite songs, and moments to remember. As we look back on six decades of WIT, we’re also celebrating the connections, experiences, and memories being made today that will carry forward for years to come.
