Watercolor Painting

Paint a charming spring scene featuring a small woodland animal nestled among fresh flowers with Randi Mackey. Using watercolor layering and blending techniques, we'll build from the lightest washes to the medium and darkest values, creating vibrant highlights and soft natural shadows. This delightful project is designed for all levels of experience.

Randi's teaching style includes step-by-step group demonstrations followed by individual support. She creates a relaxed, enjoyable classroom environment while guiding you through techniques for capturing soft fur textures, delicate petals, and the cheerful spirit of spring.

Randi has studied with internationally renowned watercolor instructors such as Paul Jackson, John Salminen, and Soon Warren, as well as Anne Abgott and Jean Weiner. She is a member of the Iowa Watercolor Society Signature. Randi enjoys bringing enthusiasm and humor to her classes, so come prepared to have fun while learning.
