Let's Grow! Creating a Thriving Container Garden

Container gardens are also great for people who love to experiment with different plant combinations, try new plants, and like having the flexibility to move pops of color throughout the landscape.

Our expert instructor, Laurie Taylor, will walk you through the ins and outs of container gardening, including selecting the perfect container, the importance of soil mix, plant selection, maintenance, and more. Laurie is an Iowa Master Gardener, owner of Living Treasures Flower Farm, and Manager of Southdale Garden Center. You will leave this class empowered and inspired to create your own container garden oasis. You will also enhance your skills to maintain a thriving container garden that will flourish all season.
