Academic Programs

Office Assistant

Certificate
Program Description
Sioux City Campus
Also Offered Completely Online

This program assists students with little or no current office skills or students who have acquired employment but need additional training. It will develop skills for entry-level office employment by concentrating on those areas of study that students will need to be employed in an office. Because technology will play a big role in the future growth of administrative-support occupations, several computer based courses will be offered as part of the certificate.

Once the certificate program is completed, students are encouraged to go into the Technology and Office Assistant Diploma program and to then continue on to the Administrative Office Management AAS degree program.
