Band Instrument Repair Tour

Have you ever watched a high school marching band on Friday night and wondered what happens when something breaks? Join program instructors, Mark Schmedinghoff and Dwight Van Tol, for a look at the Band Instrument Repair program, where WITCC students train to replace pads, take out dents, and make the instruments performance-ready after a mishap. We’ll tour the facilities, observe the lab in action on a typical class day, and receive an overview of the skills and operations students learn before entering this unique and rewarding profession.
