Job Description
$14.00-$15.00 per hour- 5-15 hours per week
Girls Inc. of Sioux City is seeking strong, smart, bold applicants for its 2026 -2027 Afterschool program. Operational hours are Monday 1:45pm to 6:00pm and Tuesday through Thursdays 2:45pm-6:30pm. Fridays 1:15pm-6:30pm. Days and hours may vary, based on position. While staff who can work the hours above Monday through Friday are preferred, schedues are normally varied from this.
Program Leads and Program Assistants deliver high-quality, evidence-based programming and activities to girls ages 6 to 12 at Girls Inc.'s state of the art facility near downtown Sioux City. This is a wonderful opportunity to be a mentor and trusted adult who makes a true difference in the lives of the girls in the program. Excelled real-life experience for future educators as well as those who just enjoy working with kids.
Must have reliable transportation to Girls, Inc. Background check required; must have First Aid/CPR certification within 60 days; license and ability to drive 15 passenger van preferred.
Fall: September 28-December 18
Spring: January 4- May 14
Girls Inc. follows the Sioux City Community Schools calendar and is closed any day the schools are closed.
Candidates who are able to work the full week or most of the week, but various scheduled may be considered as well as substitute positions.
