Celebrating 60 Years of WIT!
Fall is the perfect time to gather, celebrate, and have some fun - and we’re making this year extra special as we celebrate 60 years of WIT!
Join fellow students, employees, alumni, families, friends, and community members for the WIT Fall Festival, a day filled with free activities, games, food, movies, and Comet athletics. Come for your favorite activity, stay for the games, or make a day of it with the whole family!
Saturday, October 10
The festival is free and open to everyone.
Festival Schedule
10:00 a.m. | Festival Fun Begins
Start the day at Entrance 6 of the Corporate College Building with inflatables, yard games, cookie decorating, make-your-own temporary tattoos, and activities for all ages. Fun will be happening both indoors and outdoors.
10:30 a.m. | Men’s Soccer
Keep the Comet spirit going at Comets Field as Men’s Soccer takes on Southeastern Community College in conference play.
11:00 a.m. | Volleyball & Sophomore Night
Head to the Dunker Student Center for the first volleyball match of the day as the Comets take on Doane University JV. Help us celebrate our sophomores and cheer on the Comets!
12:00 p.m. | Free Lemonade & Dirty Popcorn
Take a break and enjoy a refreshing treat from Pearson’s Lemonade, an alumni-owned business. Free lemonade and Dirty Popcorn will be available while supplies last.
12:30 p.m. | Free Movie
Grab some popcorn and enjoy a free showing of Super Mario Galaxy in the Rocklin. Bring the family, get comfortable, and enjoy a midday movie break!
1:00 p.m. | Women’s Soccer
Head to Comets Field and cheer on the Comets as Women’s Soccer takes the field against Southeastern Community College.
3:00 p.m. | Volleyball
The Comets are back on the court at the Dunker Student Center for their second match of the day, taking on York University JV.
Fun for Everyone!
The festival fun doesn’t stop when the games begin! Activities will continue throughout the volleyball and soccer games and run until 5:00 p.m., so there will be plenty to see and do throughout the afternoon.
Food Truck
Come hungry! Kai Thai will be on campus during the festival, 11am-5pm, with food available for purchase. Grab a bite while you enjoy the activities and celebrate with us.
