Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for Western Iowa Tech Community College as Dr. Terry Lindsay officially assumes his role as the college’s fourth president.
Dr. Lindsay brings more than three decades of higher education leadership experience and a strong commitment to student success, workforce development, and community partnerships.
During his first 100 days, Dr. Lindsay will focus on listening, learning, and building relationships by visiting each campus, connecting with board members, employees, students, alumni, and meeting with community and industry leaders across Western Iowa Tech’s service area. Building relationships and learning from those who know the college best will be among his top priorities, as he recognizes that every conversation provides valuable insight into the college’s strengths, opportunities, and community needs.

As Western Iowa Tech prepares to celebrate its 60th anniversary during the 2026-27 academic year, Dr. Lindsay looks forward to honoring the college’s history while helping to shape its future.
