Western Iowa Tech Community College hosted Kosovo’s ambassador to the United States, Ilir Dugolli, for a presentation on Kosovo’s history and its ties to Sioux City’s sister city, Gjilan. The event, organized by the Sioux City Public Library’s History at High Noon series, highlighted Kosovo’s 2008 independence, its U.S.-modeled government, and Iowa troops’ role in supporting safety there.
