Board Meetings
Regular meetings of the Board are generally held on the second Monday of each month. Most meetings are held on the Sioux City campus. Public notices of the meetings are given at least twenty-four hours prior to the meeting. These meetings are open to the public, and all interested parties have the right to be present except when the Board is in closed session.
Special board meetings: Wednesday, April 8; Thursday, April 9; and Friday, April 10, from 5:45-8:30pm.
The next regular scheduled board meeting will be Monday, April 13, at 4pm on the Mapleton campus.
The second negotiating meeting between Western Iowa Tech Community College and the Western Iowa Tech Community College Education Association will be held on April 20, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in Board Room A507, Dr. Robert H. Kiser Building, 4647 Stone Avenue, Sioux City, Iowa.
At this meeting the College will present the Education Association with its proposal for the terms of the 2026-27 collective bargaining agreement.
This meeting is open to the public.
Board Members
The Western Iowa Tech Community College Board of Directors is comprised of nine members elected from nine districts within the college's six-county service area. The members must be residents of the district from which elected. Each serves a four-year term.
