The Associate of Arts (AA) and Associate of Science (AS) degrees are designed for transfer to a 4-year institution and are not meant to prepare students for direct entry to the workforce. The transfer majors listed below are reviewed and approved by the Iowa Department of Education and aligned to one or multiple 4-year colleges and universities. The suggested plans of study will meet degree requirements, however it is critical that students work with their planned transfer institution, as well as college advisors, to inform students in their course selection. The college maintains a number of articulations that specifically outline efficient transfer plans.
