This program prepares the student to be responsible for network intrusion detection and mitigation. Students will learn to monitor computer networks, install and maintain security measures, and document security breaches. Students will also be taught to develop security best practices. Throughout the program students will be able to work with various security appliances and technologies. This program prepares students for an entry level position in information security.

All students must attend the summer Program Orientation, or must meet/contact their Information Security Analyst program advisor prior to taking their first course.
All part-time students must meet with a Information Security Analyst program advisor to develop a sequential Plan of Study prior to taking their first course. (failure to do so may result in the student taking longer to complete the program)
Students must take their program core courses in sequence, and during the same semester as is reflected on the published Plan of Study.
