This course is designed for individuals who want to teach American Heart Association BLS Provider and Heartsaver courses.
Prerequisites
Current BLS Provider Card
BLS Instructor Essentials online course (elearning.heart.org)
Required Book
BLS or Heartsaver Instructor Manual
Renewal Course
This course is designed for individuals who want to continue teaching American Heart Association BLS or Heartsaver courses.
All renewing instructors must contact the EMS office directly for registration.
Prerequisites
Current BLS Instructor with a minimum of four classes taught in the two year renewal period.

Course Registration
- Registration must be completed in person or over the phone.

- The course fee is due at time of registration.
Billing and Refund Policy
A cancelation of fees will only be processed for persons who notify registration of their wish to withdraw prior to the first session of class.
