The Western Iowa Tech men’s soccer team is making waves on the national stage. In the latest NJCAA Division II Men’s Soccer Rankings, the Comets earned votes from the national poll, signaling growing respect from coaches and experts across the country.
While the team hasn’t yet cracked the official Top 20, “receiving votes” means they are firmly on the radar of the NJCAA selection committee. It’s a strong indicator that their recent performances are turning heads and that a national ranking could be within reach if the momentum continues.
Fans won’t have to wait long to catch the Comets in action. The team has a run of home games on September 3, 7, 10, 13, and 14, all taking place at the new field across from the Dunker Center. These matches are a perfect chance to see high-level soccer right here at home and show your support.
