Job Description
5-15 hours per week- $9.00 per hour
The Center for Inclusive Excellence (CIE) is seeking dynamic and detail-oriented Student Assistants through the Federal Work-Study program. The CIE Student Assistant will play a key role in supporting programming, events, outreach, and daily operations that promote belonging across campus.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, promoting, and supporting CIE events.
- Create digital and physical marketing materials (flyers, social media content, even announcements).
- Greet and assist visitors, providing information about CIE, campus resources, and student activities.
- Maintain clean physical space and organize supplies.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, scheduling, and note-taking.
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and hosting of events.
- Serve as a peer ambassador for CIE values, contributing ideas and perspectives to enhance programming.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Passionate about creating community and belonging on campus.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media platforms.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable engaging with all student populations.
- Previous experience with event planning or campus leadership is a plus.
