
Steve Warnstadt
Steve Warnstadt is an accomplished educator, public servant, and military professional with extensive experience in history, political science, and emergency management. He holds a BA in History and Political Science from Drake University, an MA in History from Temple University, and a Master of Strategic Studies (MSS) from the United States Army War College.
Steve served in public office as a State Representative from 1995 to 2003 and as a State Senator from 2003 to 2011. In addition to his legislative career, he has taught history as an adjunct instructor from 1997 to 2010 and resumed his teaching role in 2022, sharing his expertise with students.
Certified in All-Hazards Incident Management and NORAD/NORTHCOM Dual Status Command, Steve also brings specialized skills in emergency planning and crisis management. His blend of academic, governmental, and military experience makes him a well-rounded professional dedicated to education and public service.
