Through completion of the lessons, students advance toward a minimum competency level of 30 gross words per minute (GWAM)on a 3-minute official time with a maximum of 3 errors. The alphabetic keys are reviewed three times. Every lesson contains exercises of 15-sec., 30-sec., and 1-3 minutes timings. Students are encouraged to meet the speed and accuracy goals in each exercise before continuing on to the next exercise. Progress Reports help students evaluate their progress.
