Linnea Fletcher called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm.

Theresa Petty took a Roll Call of Directors.

Linnea Fletcher opened the Public Hearing for Published Budget. The notice was published in Sioux City Journal on March 27, 2025. No comments were broght forward. Hearing was closed.

No Oral Communications were brought to the board.

Linnea Fletcher reviewed the Written Communications from the Food bank of Siouxland in addendum APR 25 1, page 1-2.

Jeremy Ogle made a motion to approve the Consent Items. Erin Muck seconded. All were in favor and motion carried.

Erin Volk introduced Wendy Iverson. Wendy Iverson gave an update for the Le Mars Center and Northern Service Area. The SBDC served 29 clients, providing over 66 hours of assistance and supporting one new business start. WIT's team is developing new course pathways for the Le Mars and Cherokee high schools.

Revathi Vongsiprasom gave the Annual Opportunity and Engagement Report. Revathi thanked her team on the great work they have accomplished. Highlights: Cherokee TRIO-SSS launched new procedures to boost enrollment to record highs. TRIO-SSS worked to complete comprehensive proposals for both Sioux City and branch campuses to ensure program continuity and enhancement. A rural learners committee was established to meet and bridge the gap with rural students.

Jackie Plendl submitted the 26-27 College Calendar for approval. Russ Wray made a motion and if was seconded by Jeremy Ogle. All were in favor and motion carried.

Jackie Plendl and Erin Volk presented some Board Policy Revisions for a first reading. These policy revisions will be brought to a future board meeting for a vote.

Troy Jasman presented the FY26 Published Budget. It was published in the Sioux City Journal on March 27, 2025. Jeremy Ogle made a motion and it was seconded by Hanna Reinders. All were in favor and motion carried.

Troy Jasman also presented the Ring Road Bids. Jeremy Ogle made a motion and it was seconded by Russ Wray. All were in favor and motion carried.

Troy Jasman presented Change Order #1 for the Cherokee Campus Paving Improvements Project. Brad Griffin made a motion and it was seconded by Russ Wray. All were in favor and motion carried.

Troy also brought the Closeout for the 2024 Cherokee Campus Paving Improvements Project. Brad Griffin made a motion and it was seconded by Russ Wray. All were in favor and motion carried.

Darin Moeller and Carmen Wilson presented the 260G ACE Truck Driving Program - ACE Agreement. Tricia Sutherland made a motion and it was seconded by Hanna Reinders. All were in favor and motion carried.

Tricia Sutherland gave an update for the Community Colleges for Iowa. Brenda Wright sent out on email today asking input for a new Trustee Handbook. Please respond to that email with any ideas you may have. All input needs to be in by Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

Terry Murrell gave a President Report. He gave a Legislative update.

Linnea Fletcher reviewed the upcoming events and asked for any comments. None were brought forward. Jeremy Ogle made a motion to adjourn the meeting and it was seconded by Micah Lang. All were in favor and the motion carried.
