The Western Iowa Tech Community College (WITCC) chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), Beta Zeta Mu, hosted its annual convocation November 14, which focused on “Critical Issues in Mental Health for Siouxland and Beyond.” This event raised more than $2500 through donations and a successful silent auction. PTK presented $500 to the Food Bank of Siouxland, $500 to the Mental Health Association of Siouxland, and $1823 to The Warming Shelter Friday, December 9 and were overjoyed to be celebrating the season of giving by supporting such important organizations in our community.
