Six Western Iowa Tech Community College graphic design students take seven of 15 awards from the Iowa Community College Advertising + Design Invitational (ICCADI).
Winners will be recognized for their talents at the ICCADI Awards Reception on May 20, 2016 at Northeast Iowa Community College in Peosta, IA. The ICCADI design competition recognizes and celebrates original design created by students enrolled in graphic design programs at Iowa community colleges all across the state.
WITCC winners include: Dakota Martin, Andy Meza, Joel Nobis, Nate Urban, Amanda Schorg, and Jaimie Strong. “We are so proud of all the work these students have put toward their future,” says Lynne Wilcke, graphic design instructor at WITCC. The categories and level of awards will be announced at the upcoming ceremony. Their winning designs and submission details are available online at www.iccadi.net.
The ICCADI rewards individuals whose projects demonstrate engaging, innovative, effective, and thoughtful design solutions in six categories: identity, poster, packaging, publication, animation, and web + interactive. The entries are judged by top local, regional and national design professionals. Winners in each category are awarded cash and prizes, and the top designs will get statewide recognition as a traveling poster exhibit over the next year.
