|Reports To:||Director of Upward Bound and Talent Search|
|About the Position:||The purpose of this position is to coordinate the delivery of support services to participants of the Upward Bound Program in area high schools.|
|Minimum Qualifications:||Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Experience working with first generation and/or low-income families.
Valid Driver's License.
|Job Responsibilities:||"Plan, coordinate, and deliver curriculum utilizing the online tool, Canvas, to enhance academic performance of student participants.
"Meet with students in their schools and facilitate the recruitment process.
"Work with high school personnel and on-campus resources.
"Develop and revise tutorial sessions and supervise tutors.
"Track participants' progress and advise students on career decision making.
"Plan and implement campus visits, workshops, field trips and the six-week residential summer camp.
"Use excellent communication and human relation skills.
"Use database applications to create and manage files and communicate requested information, maintaining confidentiality.
|Employment Conditions:||This is a full-time, grade 7, administrative position with an annual wage of $47,066 grant funded until 2021. Work schedule will include occasional evenings and weekends and travel to off-site locations.
