The main Sioux City campus sits on a hill at the edge of town surrounded by over 200 acres of lush green hills, wooded trails and a fantastic view of the city. Western Iowa Tech was established in 1966 and has grown and expanded it's campus, programs and services to become one of the largest community colleges in the tri-state area.
Satellite campuses and learning centers in Denison, Cherokee, Mapleton and Le Mars as well as the Beltway Center on the north side of Sioux City offer learning options to smaller communities surrounding Sioux City.
Our main Sioux City campus has housing options for approximately 1000 students with housing managers as well as security on site 24 hours a day. The on-site Overlook Cafe provides food service five days a week. Shopping is also within easy walking distance of the campus.
