Accounting Club
The Accounting club works to promote and explore education and career options for students considering a career in the accounting field. We work to provide networking opportunities between students and accounting professionals in the area.
Meeting times are generally Wednesdays at 11am in A1313.

Anime Club
The purpose of the anime club is to watch and analyze different genres of anime, Japanese animated film, and to explore Japanese culture. Club members conduct panels throughout the academic year to inform other of the art of Japanese animated film. Club members also explore and share, through panels, aspects of Japanese culture and history. The Anime Club members sponsor the annual Halloween Dance, help at other campus activities and attend Anime Iowa each summer.

Architectural / Interior Design Alliance (AIDA)
The AIDA club will work to educate the public about the architectural and interior design professions and their roles in enhancing our environment while maintaining a sustainable world. We will be working to promote new technologies, research innovative products and inspire creative solutions that fulfill the client's goals.
Beta Zeta Mu (Phi Theta Kappa)
Beta Zeta Mu has consistently been an outstanding chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, an Honor Society for two-year colleges. It is based on four principle hallmarks: scholarship, leadership, fellowship and service.
This club will participate in community service projects such as American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Hospice Journal Project, the Grant Writing Project and more
Requirements are a 3.5 cumulative grade point average with a minimum completion of 12 semester credit hours

Chess Club
The purpose of the chess club is to educate newcomers on the rules and standards of competitive and recreational chess. The goal is to learn, play chess and have fun in a relaxed and challenging environment. Although not a flashy club, it is quiet and enjoyable.

Code Monkeys Computer Club
The Code Monkeys Computer Club will give anyone with an interest or skill set the environment to learn about programming, computers, software development and more in a fun and engaging environment. We will work on fun, team-oriented skill building projects designed to improve programming abilities and knowledge. Practice projects will help to keep the programming teams ready for competitions. Real-life projects based on practical application will also help to keep the programmers up-to-date on the latest technology and platforms.
Meetings are generally held on Mondays and Wednesdays in A230.

We meet to discuss political issues, plan events, and work toward the goals of the Democratic Party.
CRU
Formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ, CRU focuses on the three A's being true in our movements. The three A's are as follows:
Alive walks with Christ; That each student would be growing in a relationship with God every day and in new ways;
Authentic Relationships with one another: That each student would be connected with other students in real relationships based on mutual trust, appreciation, and accountability with one another, loving one another as God calls us to;
Advancing the Gospel to who wants to hear: that each student would be looking for and seeking out opportunities to introduce interested students to who Jesus is, what He did, and how He affects our lives.
We live out the three A's through a number of different venues that increase student's capabilities.

Dance
The purpose of the dance club is to create a dance team to perform at homecoming and other school functions. Practices are held weekly, with try-outs at the beginning of each school year. Members will be expected to participate in fundraisers for uniforms and other events as well as attend competitions and other dance functions.

Dental Assisting Club
The purpose of the club is to provide a mechanism to raise and provide financial support for the students with professional development activities.
Typical activities include conducting bake sales and raffles to support activities such as student membership in the American Dental Assistants Association and attending the Iowa Dental Assistants Association Annual Session in Cedar Rapids.
You must be enrollment in the Dental Assisting program
Meetings are generally at noon on Thursday or Friday in L425.

DRAGON Gaming Club
The Dragon Club is designed to be a socially interactive gaming club to help people relax and get to know fellow gamers through gaming, socialization, reading and meeting other game clubs. There are people at WITCC who are interested, but can't find other players. This club brings gamers together, making happy gamers more relaxed, which is good academically as well. Current games include Dungeons and Dragons, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering.

Education Club
The purpose of the Education club is to raise awareness of teachers as professionals, show how education is important as well as fun, and provide support to each other and others in the education field. Getting quality, dedicated teachers in education is important and we will work to increase awareness of the education programs at WITCC has and help instill pride in the teaching profession as we work with young people. By working with children by volunteering at the college and in the community, we will focus on issues that encompass the education field as teachers and students.

Epilepsy Support Group (ESG)
This club was formed to offer a safe and understanding environment where students and the community can go to learn more about Epilepsy, seizures and the effects on themselves as well as family and friends.
This group will provide a community of support and education for those who deal with seizures. In the group setting they will be able to talk about the effect on their lives and learn how to overcome the limitations they may have put on their lives as well as the types of seizures and what to do if they have or witness a seizure.

French Club
The aim of le club de francais is to explore French history and culture through films, songs and news stories. If you speak the language or just enjoy the French culture, please feel free to join the club, or come to a meeting and see how it goes. You don't have to speak French to enjoy the club.

Gay, Lesbian, or Whatever (G.L.O.W.)
The G.L.O.W. club gives members the opportunity to socialize about situation, issues, and concerns in regards to sexual orientation. This club is open to any current students or alumni that have a genuine concern with or are in support of the issues surrounding the G.L.O.W. community. The club will help support individuals and strengthen who they are as a person as well as to open up in a group setting.

Graphic Design Club
The Graphic Design club is designed to benefit students who are in the program and want to collaborate on projects, non-profit design work, and share ideas and techniques with other members.
Anyone who is interested in design, print or web is welcome to join. You do not have to be in the design program.

Motorcycle and Powersports
The Powersports club is a group that works on projects related to their industry to better their skills. This club will discuss new or changed industry standards or issues as well as practice their skills by taking on projects for WIT students and staff. This club also works in the community during various events.

Nursing
To make the nursing program more accessible to incoming students and the community in general by providing: a mentoring program, performing community service, promoting wellness within the college. For nursing students we would like to create apparel, attend conferences, promote the nursing program. To provide a web portal with FAQ about the program along with other promotional materials and events.

Photography Club
The Photography Club will focus on learning and demonstrating photography techniques to improve student's photography skills. Anyone interested in photography as a career or hobby can benefit by the sharing of ideas, methods, resources as well as participate in community events as a group.

Police Science Club
The Police Science club is a community service club that encourages Police Science students to get involved with WIT both on and off campus. This helps our students to build a sense of community, a desire to help others and promote safety for all. Activities may include working with women from the Domestic Violence Shelter and safety fairs.

Shakespeare Club
The Shakespeare club will study the life and works of William Shakespeare. By delving into this highly regarded poet and playwright, you will better understand not only the man and his personal, but his talent and professional collaborations. In addition to studying Shakespeare, you may also have the opportunity to travel with the club and experience it yourself.

Sioux Metropolitan Automation & Robotics
The Sioux Metropolitan Automation and Robotic Organization establishes ahuman and machine assimilation and interaction as applicable to engineering, mathematics and science disciplines Students on campus will benefit by having an opportunity to see how math and science help shape our world through the field of robotics and automation.

Spanish Club
The Spanish Club is an organization that is made up of people who have an appreciation or desire to learn about the Spanish language and/or culture. Spanish language skills are not required; only an interest in promoting the culture and the knowledge that will help to improve relations. We will have opportunities to improve your language skills if you choose to participate in them or you can JUST ENJOY THE CULTURE. Video Game Design Club
The Video Game Design club will discuss and review new and emerging video games, challenge members with projects, work to increase their knowledge of software and techniques, learn and work the video game design pipeline, host debates, speakers and meeting related to the game industry. Members of the club will also work in various ways to contribute to community events.

WIT Comets Rugby
Rugby, also referred to as rugby football, is a full contact team sport originating in England with over 5 million registered players. The goal of WIT rugby is to introduce the fundamentals of the second most played sport in the world while implementing the value system structured within. It provides the support and opportunity for student athletes to transition to a four-year collegiate athletic program and take the WIT experience with them. Rugby gives students at WIT a legitimatized sport for inter-collegiate play, an unprecedented sense of school pride and student body cohesion.

Xtreme Sports
The Xtreme Sports Club offers both on and off campus students activities, sports, and games to play outside of the realm of typical high school athletics. Sports have a universal attributes such as teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, and a sense of self-worth; but, many students have found it hard to adhere to mainstream sports for one reason or another. The club is set up by students for students, with as little intervention from mainstream sports, government and school bureaucracy as possible.
Our goal is to have fun.
