To place food and beverage orders, call (712) 274-8733 ext. 1299, email us at overlookcafe@witcc.edu, or visit the Overlook Cafe office in person.  Please place your order at least one (1) week in advance for day functions, and two (2) weeks in advance for evening and weekend functions. For snack or beverage orders, 48 hours is sufficient.

A payment/transfer sheet with the order, pricing, and authorized signatures MUST be on the food service managers desk prior to the order being processed.

We ask that a 48 hour number guarantee be made, as we prepare for the guaranteed number only. If fewer than the guaranteed number of people attend, you will be billed for the original guaranteed number.

Cancellations must be made at least one full business day prior to your scheduled catering. Late notification will not be acknowledged, except in emergency situations.

For any catering scheduled on weekends, additional labor charges will be added. During the summer term, deliveries after 3 p.m. are not available unless prearranged with the food service manager.

No food or beverage may be brought in to any food service catering or facility from any outside source without prior approval.

All remaining food items are the property of the food service department.  This is to ensure proper food handling and safe temperature control, to prevent food-borne illness. Some items are excluded from this, i.e. bagels, donuts, cookies, coffee, etc. For further questions, please contact the food service manager.

There will be an additional charge for any event requiring linen tablecloths and/or china table settings. Please notify us at the time the order is placed if these items are requested.

Please reserve your room and other details for your function.  For table and chair set up, you must fill out the proper paperwork for the Physical Plant and send a copy to the Overlook Cafe.
